This light yellow, viscous oil has a low acid value and excellent lubricating, moisturizing, and stabilizing properties, making it ideal for pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and high-grade industrial applications.
The oil primarily contains ricinoleic acid (85–90%), along with oleic acid (3–4%) and linoleic acid (3–5%), giving it superior viscosity, flexibility, and oxidative stability. The production process involves seed cleaning and drying, cold pressing at controlled temperatures, fine filtration, optional neutralization with mild alkali, and bleaching with activated clay to achieve the desired pale color and low acidity. Each batch of Pale Pressed Grade Castor Oil is tested for acid value, viscosity, moisture, and purity as per ASTM and BIS standards, then safely packed in drums or HDPE containers under nitrogen to prevent oxidation.
